As a huge fan of football and La Manga Club,it’s not surprising that when Terry Mancini and I met some 20 yrs ago, we quickly became firm friends.
Since that day we have shared many sports related holidays, mostly golf, around the World.
He also knows that I consider Dubai to be the best winter holiday venue, bar none.
Only a 6 hour flight from London, with great weather, superb hotels, magnificent service, fantastic golf courses and the best choice of restaurants in the world.
Make no mistake, Dubai ticks all the boxes.
To make it even more exciting,Terry and his team organise the very best golfing events to this outstanding location and their Dubai Footballers Classic, is one of the best.
On a personal level, I see the Dubai winner’s trophy every day, not because I have ever won it but because my wife has !!!
The tournament is a ‘winner’ in our household, that’s for sure.
My recommendation ---- Go to Dubai and La Manga and meet your footballing heroes. Go to a Mancini Events holiday.

The Dubai Celebrity Golf Classic

After such a successful and action packed visit to Barbados last year we tried unsuccessfully to re-book but for various reasons, we couldn’t secure a positive price or date and after a month of deliberation, we finally decided to return to Dubai, where this November event was held for 5 years.
Prices had always been high in Dubai, mainly due to a lack of quality bed space and golf courses, which most of our events are based around. During the past 2 years that situation has altered dramatically in Dubai and because there are now more new recently opened hotels and several more golf courses, the prices have dropped.
We are so pleased to announce our first ever Dubai Celebrity Golf Classic, being held jointly at the Mina Seyahi and Westin Hotels, on a prominent part of the Jumeirah Beach.
After 5 years at the Grand Hyatt hotel, which was very good, we are pleased to announce the new hotel accommodation on the beach, which will please everyone, particularly the ladies. The Mina Seyahi and the Westin are joined together and the great thing about both hotels is; you can eat, drink, swim and sunbathe at either of the hotels facilities and sign for your room at either hotel. The Basrati Bar on the Mina Seyahi beach, is one of the busiest bars in Dubai and is always packed; but with so many areas to eat and drink, there will never be a problem finding a spot to park yourselves and wait for others to join you. The pools and restaurants dotted around both hotels will offer a huge variety of areas to sunbathe, eat and drink.
We also decided on a different golf format, to help with costs, with a 3 round team competition, with the best 2 scores from 4 to count. This time you can select your celebrity to play with you for all 3 rounds, at one price, or enter as a team of 4, with no celebrity at another price. We will also include an optional individual round of golf to find the weeks Champion, with a major prize and trophy to win, or simply spend more time topping up the tan and spending some quality time with your wife.
Donna is ready to help you with flights with Virgin (London only) or Emirate airlines, from regional airports around the country.
We also plan some incredible entertainment for the BBQ evening with the outstanding vocals of Daryll King and a really sensational surprise act for the Gala dinner (ladies bring your dancing shoes)
